New purchase and more photos from Rakuten =P

It has been several months since I bought a bag and even more months since I bought a non-designer bag. This lovely bag caught my eyes when I was waiting for hubby to buy Starbucks coffee at Wisma. I pulled him into the shop to take a look after we finished our caffine dose.

This babe is made in Korea. Soft leather, great texture, lovely design. I also bought the bag charm to match. Here are some photos. ^_^

Another attempt in photoshop painting. This time, I was faster. Also had the chance to try new techniques. This version is a slightly better piece of work than my previous one. It is still a WIP, I felt tired after finishing the eyes. Really salute those who can complete a painting in one sitting. Let's see if I can finish this by next weekend.

"Fall in Love" Necklace - My Best Love!

This is my best love, among all the creations I have done so far. I am SO in love with this precious necklace.

Rose gold necklace is what I had been thinking of doing but never had the inspiration so far... till today! I am so happy with what I have accomplished. The designing was not smooth sailing, I took several hours. The photo below is the concept design before I plunged into actual work.

I have spent again!!

Hubby finally realised that I should never be allowed into a watch boutique.

We went to Takashimaya yesterday... He said that there is the Hour Glass boutique and suggested to take a look at the Philip Stein watch which I had on my wishlist. Alas, it was a bad idea -- I saw the watches and quickly picked one. In a matter of less than 30 mins in the shop, I asked him if I could get the watch. **LOL** So this babe went home with me!

I am very curious if the Teslar technology really helps to reduce overall stress and promote well being of the wearer. Most likely I would start wearing this beauty after my birthday next month. I love the diamond markers, the dual clock and watch face. Also like the ease of changing the leather strap - I do plan to get more straps in the near future. ^_^

I must stop spending. Wouldn't want to "squander" all my hard earned bonus!

Am into a drawing frenzy these 2 weeks. ^_^ I am learning to use Photoshop to sketch and paint. Never good in painting but photoshop seems to make things slightly easier.

This is what I have done so far. Not fantastic but I am happy because I am improving in my skills. Call it a far-fetched dream but I believe I can be considered good in this one day!

My beautiful anniversary present from hubby ^_^

My very sparkly diamond ring from hubby. This is a 1 carat ring, with H colour and VS2 clarity. Hubby picked the stone and supported my choice of setting. I am happy with the present and touched by his generosity and love. =)

Sunday blues

The truth is, I have Sunday blues every week. Definitely not looking forward to work. How many of us actually dread work every day? Drag ourselves up from bed, push ourselves through the office door, force ourselves to deal with the work that needs to be done, liaise with the people whom we don't like... and the cycle repeats again the next day.

The truth is, I wish I can quit and not worry about the bills/ loans I need to pay. Do a part-time job and spend the remaining days working on my jewelry pieces. Perhaps such a dream is achievable. It is just a matter of "If I Dare".

Sacrifice the want for more beautiful things - the expensive black leather watch, the beautiful B-bag or even the Chanel. Sacrifice the life of comfort - going around without a car (I really dislike taking the train and bus, the journey of more than an hour to any interesting place is enough to kill my enthusiasm.), the relatively big house that I have now.

Ranting will not make me feel better. It is afterall Sunday, 7.03pm.

New family member - Juiz, the ragamuffin

Introducing our new family member - Juiz! She is a ragamuffin (read more about this cat breed here) and is about 5 months old now. She has been with us for about 2 weeks and is adapting well.

Juiz is an affectionate kitty. She literally follows us from room to room, takes her nap beside us, wants us to watch over her as she enjoys her food, greets us with a soft "--eow" every time she sees us. She also loves to run with me from one corner of the house to another (her favorite exercise besides catching the little toy mouse).

My ring from Japan is here!

After more than a month's wait, my ring from Sirena Azzurro Japan is finally here! DH was kind to drive to the post office during his lunchtime to pay for the GST imposed on the package and collect the item.

When I reached home at night after a day of hard work *pant!*, I was delighted to see a little blue bag on our bar counter - as though it was patiently waiting for my return to unwrap the beauty inside! Here are some photos of the beautiful ring - custom made 18k rose gold, with aquamarine and diamonds.  YIPPIE!!!

I love Japan!

It has been close to 1 month since I returned from Japan. It is such an amazing place - fantastic shopping and beautiful scenery.  Took more than 300 photos. Here are some of my favourites.
