1) "Winter Wonderland" Necklace - This necklace is created with the spirit of joy and winter white in mind. I used swarovski round square indicolite crystal, blue fiery moonstone, crystal teardrop, czech beads and seed beads. All woven on a filigree and covered with another. The necklace cord is made of suede. 

2) "Sweet Giraffee" Earrings - Sweet pair of giraffe (with an extra "e"!) earrings. Totally fun and adorable. Wear them to school, shopping, casual outings or dates.

I want to share with all about my new loot - Jill Stuart's blusher compact. I ordered this online via ebay from Japan (Jill Stuart is a big popular brand in Japan. I read that their cosmetic counters are always crowded with eager buyers). Mine is the 02 colour. The 4 shades look bright and pink but when applied, they blend very well with the skin - giving a pink sweet glow. =) Everything looks so pretty and girlie. Packaging is the main reason (I believe) why Jill Stuart is such a hit with ladies. My only complain is the brush, which tends to slide back when in use. 'Nuff said, here are the photos.

Things I made this weekend

This weekend has been tough for me emotionally. I'm thankful for a supportive hubby - he was understanding and gave me the personal space I needed. I took the time to make some pieces for my shops and also a piece for myself.

These are for my etsy and blogshop - "Take Me Home" ear studs (measuring only about 0.4 inches wide each... aren't they cute?) and "Ribbons" earrings (I love the little ribbons!).

The one below is my personal collection. New from my workbench. I used Japanese ceramic flower (see the shades of pink and white), huge blue fiery moonstone and a little one on the top left of the pendant. I also used lovely AB crystal teardrops and raspberry colour crystal bicones. Do you see the pink quartz chips too?

New Pet! Meet my new Sony Vaio P netbook

Meet my new pet - Sony Vaio P Netbook (P 23 series). I bought this babe for myself as a belated birthday present. What I love about this machine - the size of this sweetie! So far, I have not seen other brands with these dimensions (I might not have seen all, of course **grin**). It fits perfect into my bag and is also very light in weight, which is a very important factor since I plan to carry it wherever I go.

This is my second day using the gadget and I'm totally in love with it. =)

I bought a treasure last Friday after work at PageOne bookstore, Habourfront. This graphic book babe is called "the Garden of eye candy". It is a compilation of selected works from talented artists like Adolie Day, Kendra Binney, Nicoletta Ceccoli etc. The book has 255 pages, hardcover and costs SGD$58.74. Extracts of the book below.

New work - Pastel Moonstone Bracelet

Ordered some components directly from Japan and managed to receive them last week. I was excited to test the quality and durability of the new shower caps. Made a new bracelet "Pastel Moonstone" yesterday. I used lots of my personal favourites, including a Japanese ceramic pastel blue flower, moonstones (see the beautiful blue fire!), seed beads, opalets and crystals.

I'm not sure if I should list it or keep it for myself. This piece looks much better in person than on photos. Here are 2 of my miserable attempts to capture a little of its beauty.

I still love drawing after so many years

When I said "many years", I really mean it! Started doodling on unwanted magazines (for those who can remember this "must-have" TV magazine back in the old old days... 电视广播周刊) since I was very young. I believe this hobby was greatly influenced by my elder brother. We used to draw and make up stories. Don't ask me how we did that, we managed to have hours of fun drawing alongside each other.

Close to 30 years have gone by... I still love to draw. More so, I love to see other people's work. Am always captivated by the talented artists who draw for a living. In case you have not found deviantART, this is a wonderful place where LOADS of artists gather to showcase their work, sketches and WIPs.
