Personal Collection - Labradorite Love

Personal collection - Labradorite Love bracelet

Just completed this 2 days ago during my off-day. Made of moonstones, labradorites and phrenites, with filigrees and seed beads. Finally used my stock of labradorites, which have been in my supply box for more than a year!

Things I made this weekend

This weekend has been tough for me emotionally. I'm thankful for a supportive hubby - he was understanding and gave me the personal space I needed. I took the time to make some pieces for my shops and also a piece for myself.

These are for my etsy and blogshop - "Take Me Home" ear studs (measuring only about 0.4 inches wide each... aren't they cute?) and "Ribbons" earrings (I love the little ribbons!).

The one below is my personal collection. New from my workbench. I used Japanese ceramic flower (see the shades of pink and white), huge blue fiery moonstone and a little one on the top left of the pendant. I also used lovely AB crystal teardrops and raspberry colour crystal bicones. Do you see the pink quartz chips too?

"Miss Me" Gemstone Bangle and store update

There are a couple of new pieces I've listed at my etsy store and blogshop over the weekend. You are warmly invited to drop by and take a peek! =)

Besides "Petite" Earrings, I have also made "Miss Me" Bangle. Made of fine blue gray micro faceted quartz, cornflower quartz, swarovski crystal bicones and durable 14k gold-plated tubes.

I love the blue gray quartz and cornflower quartz gemstones used in this bangle. They sparkle and their colours are beautiful! The tubes are durable 14k gold plated so you don't have to worry that the color would fade quickly. This bangle is truly a classic piece. I'm thinking to make more in different colours. =)

There are 2 new crystal cabochons on my etsy site - raspberry oval and wine rectangle. You'll love the colours!

Breakthrough - Romantic Jasper Bracelet

This piece is a ChALLenGe! This is my very first attempt to weave 2 filigrees together, add a clay rose (I bought this from the etsy seller, beadsupplies) and surround it with milky seed beads. Then I have the filigrees clawed to a Jasper stone (a gift from Geanie! thanks, dear) and used silver chains to keep it secure. How much work is that? Hours!.. of planning, staring, designing and putting into action.

I am greatly encouraged by the feedback given by the forumers from Starving Jewelry Artists on this bracelet. This forum is the most amazing craft forums I have seen so far. The bond among the members is really strong. =)

My Christmas Gift to myself & Store Update

I have found the perfect christmas present for myself. =) It's unique and handmade. Crafted by talented Kathryn Riechert, this beauty is made from sterling silver and set with a 5mm peridot (peridot is my birth stone). Most probably I will receive this lovely necklace in about 2 to 3 weeks time. Till then, I have the photos to drool over.

From my floral filigree series. Now available!

I weaved 2 filigrees together, added the purple clay flower, beautiful crystal bicones and rounds; and some seed beads to make up the focal. This focal is chained to lovely amethyst stones and ended with a dainty purple crystal to complete the look.

Measures a length of 7 inches and extendable. Please feel free to let me know if you want a longer length. Alteration is free of charge.

Beautiful bracelet can used as a daily wear and can be worn for all occassions. =)

Scent of a Woman - Necklace

New from my work bench - Scent of a Woman. Available now from my Etsy Store.

This is a beautiful elegant and feminine necklace. Lots of purple and lavendar, a ribbon and a flower. The focal is made of 2 filigrees, weaved with lots of seed beads, a lovely clay petite flower and a ribbon. Added crystals and an ametrine stone to complete the look.

Dimension - 8.5 inches each side (from clasp to flower) and extendable by another 1 inch +. Check out my store or my Flickr for more photos. =)

Remember Little Branded was checking out the Wheel of Angels previously? This lovely wheel is a birthday gift from my "nanny". The angels are so sweet! Each angel is different and they represent the zodiac signs. The wheel is rotatable but it can't rotate much due to the weight of these angels.

Little Branded also found a new pouch hanging on my Balenciaga twiggy. She was so happy that she can take a picture with the cute little pouch (yep, the cutie pouch is the rabbit head! **LOL**).

Earrings and more earrings... and my current state of mind

A new pair of earrings I made a few days back using rose quartz stones, lampwork beads made by Kandice Seeber and crystals. Was in low spirits yesterday, trying to get out of such depressing state. Still trying. Hubby wrote to say he has seen me overcome similar unhappiness before and he feels I can do it. I was touched to see his words and it has given me strength to stay 'afloat' for a day and a day. Bit by bit. I really hope I can overcome it. I spend when I am unhappy. Lucky(?) for me, I got these lovelies from Jennifermorrisbeads (from etsy). She's really lovely and polite. I'm looking forward to my sweet earrings.

God loves everyone, including those who spitefully hurt others, those who are selfish, those who are possessive, those who mentally torture others... Oh yes, these people are not happy themselves. They suffer and they are in need of love. So the Lord is there. He loves them. I will not ask God to punish You-know-who-they-are, for He knows what is best and He can see the hearts of men. But I don't wish to be the loser, I don't wish to be the person who cannot let go of the hatred inside me. It is so difficult to wish these people well and I'm not even thinking about forgiveness yet. Forgiveness in this case is indeed only possible with Him. I'm not ready yet, not ready yet....
