My humble etsy shop reached 200 followers a few days ago. ^_^ I'm happy that my work is appreciated and recognised in this manner. It encourages me to keep designing and creating new pieces. Thank you so much! To show my appreciation, I will have my first etsy sale in December. **dance** More details will be provided in due course.

I snagged some treasuries!

Finally, luck is on my side! I snagged 2 treasuries in a single day. Treasury is a page where etsy members get to list their favourite items and share this list with everyone. The treasuries posted usually last about 2-3 days and those with the highest number of clicks (and comments) get to the front page (opening page) of etsy. Definitely a good way to publicise your shop if your item is listed on that hot treasury front page!

Here are the screenshots and their respective hyperlinks. Please take a look if you have the time.  =)

Some Nice and Pretty Stuff I bought recently

1) Artistic Abstract Lampwork Bead from Touchofglassdesigns (picture taken from her etsy site) This pretty has so much details. I like the way it reminds me of a waterfall.

2) Sweet Japanese Kawaii Notepad
Every page of this notepad is different - different design and different words. I have yet to understand what the japanese words mean but I do know that this notepad is 100% kawaii.

Earrings and more earrings... and my current state of mind

A new pair of earrings I made a few days back using rose quartz stones, lampwork beads made by Kandice Seeber and crystals. Was in low spirits yesterday, trying to get out of such depressing state. Still trying. Hubby wrote to say he has seen me overcome similar unhappiness before and he feels I can do it. I was touched to see his words and it has given me strength to stay 'afloat' for a day and a day. Bit by bit. I really hope I can overcome it. I spend when I am unhappy. Lucky(?) for me, I got these lovelies from Jennifermorrisbeads (from etsy). She's really lovely and polite. I'm looking forward to my sweet earrings.
*****
God loves everyone, including those who spitefully hurt others, those who are selfish, those who are possessive, those who mentally torture others... Oh yes, these people are not happy themselves. They suffer and they are in need of love. So the Lord is there. He loves them. I will not ask God to punish You-know-who-they-are, for He knows what is best and He can see the hearts of men. But I don't wish to be the loser, I don't wish to be the person who cannot let go of the hatred inside me. It is so difficult to wish these people well and I'm not even thinking about forgiveness yet. Forgiveness in this case is indeed only possible with Him. I'm not ready yet, not ready yet....

Tea Party in the Garden

"Tea Party in the Garden" bracelet which was completed yesterday. Made of many beautiful parts and components - rose gold flower pin, Ashton Jewels lampwork beads, sparkly citrine, rose gold flower clasp, phrenite teardrops, phrenite and labradorite rondelles, milky czech teardrop beads. Wow.... I'm giving myself a big treat here!

How long, how long
that I have to dwell in this place
the pain, the sadness and the strain

My strength is failing, my stress is great

I look to my Hope, my only Hope.
If it is possible, deliver me please.

Orangetree Happy Creation

It has been about 3 years since I started my hobby on 'bling-making'. I have made several friends who have the same hobby and found many treasures (gemstones, lampwork, bali beads etc) during my bling-making journey. Totally fun but expensive too.

Something I made yesterday. A very easy project. The lampwork bead is simply awesome! This is a long necklace with lampwork bead as focal, lots of crystal bicones and a cute teardrop phrenite. The chain itself is rose gold from Shiana LLC.

And Bubblegum Sugar is now listed on my etsy!
